Everyone in USA calls me "Cici", whose pernounciation is the same as "Sisi" in English. But my name is pernounciated differently and I know it is difficult for English speaker to speak. So I am called as "Cici", it's OK.
I know everyone in my class has already known that I come from China, which is a country far away from here. My background is different and my language is different. If someone in my class is interested in Chinese culture, I believe that I would be helpful. China is a historical country and our food is totally different from what USA has.
It is hard for me to study in a foreign country because English is not my mother language. I was surprised that I got a good mark in the writing placement exam and I am glad to study in an English class which is for native speaker. I will try my best to catch up everything.
The weather of Pullman is strange in my eyes. It is always rainy, but my skin still feels dry. Fortunately, I brought so many cosmetics so that they will protect my skin. Hah, of course it is because I am a girl. I will get used to this weather in the future.
That's all. I believe that you will know about me better and better.
Im sure you'll do great in english, if you need any help you have us haha. I believe china has a very interesing history and i would love to visit china someday. Weather usually sucks in the states more north, like usually always rainy or snowy. Summers are really nice though cuz its always sunny and hot. :)
回复删除Hey Sisi, sounds like quite the transition moving from China to Pullman. I thought about taking Mandarin when I was in high school. I couldn't imagine going to college in a foreign country. It must be tough but Im sure you'll be fine.
回复删除Pullman weather is tough to get used to in the winter its usually very cold, and in the summer its supper hot. I'm sure you will get used to it and then you will go home and think that weather is weird. Any way i hope you have a good time here.
